The opportunity

    We're looking for a Django Python Web developer with 3-6 years of experience who can write reusable, testable, and efficient code while also having solid programming abilities. Strong application development experience in any of the financial risk domains – credit, market, liquidity risk, or enterprise risk – operational risk, or solid knowledge of compliance/Fincrime technology with exposure to any of the cloud technologies such as MS Azure/AWS/GCP.

Your key responsibilities

• Applying superior technical capabilities, provides unique and practical concepts for the design and integration of new data architecture for the organization.
• Create dynamic, visually appealing, end-to-end, and unique software products/apps that include both front-end and back-end functionality.
• Capable of creating a user's experience, interactivity, responsive design, and entire architecture.
• Working knowledge of databases, servers, APIs, version control systems, and third-party applications
• Provide feedback on how to enhance the system and add/remove features as needed.
• Continuous improvement, performance optimization, stability, and scalability are all part of the design strategy.
• Keep current with the latest development tools, frameworks, methods, and architectures.
• From concept to execution, transform business requirements into a final product. Ensure cross-platform interoperability and issue resolution during the test and production phases.
• Manage a team of developers and maintain effective communication with them in order to improve the product roadmap and performance.

Skills and attributes for success

• Should have worked in a financial risk domain such as credit, market, liquidity, or enterprise risk – operational risk (at least one of these is required) or have a good understanding of compliance/Fincrime technology.
• A thorough understanding of web frameworks is required.
• A working knowledge of FastAPI, microservices, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of several DBMS technologies, such as MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and SQLServer.
• A working knowledge of caching mechanisms such as varnish, Memcached, and Redis is advantageous.
• The principles of basic prototype design and UI/UX design should be understood.
• Knowledge of how to use a version control system (VCS)
• Working with APIs (REST & SOAP): Full stack developers should be familiar with web services and APIs. It's preferable if you know how to create and consume REST and SOAP services.

To be considered for the position, you must have the following qualifications:

• Proven expertise as a Full Stack Developer and Python expert with at least one Python web framework, such as Django/ Flask.
• Working experience in the financial risk domain is required: - credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, or business risk - dangers in the workplace (any one of these mandatory) or an excellent understanding of compliance/financial crime technology
• UI/UX design experience
• Databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache), and UI/UX design are all useful skills to have.
• Some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries are familiar.
• A basic understanding of Python's threading constraints and multi-process architecture is required.
• Debugging and unit testing skills are essential.
• familiarity with standard stacks and experience designing desktop applications
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, as well as an analytical mind

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Engineering in  Information Technology, and Computer Science degrees.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (Optional)
• It is preferable to have technical certifications in Python and Cloud technologies.
• With 3-5 years of experience as a Django/Flask Python Web developer, you should be able to write reusable, tested, and efficient code and have solid programming abilities.
• MongoDB, Cassandra, and HBase are examples of NoSQL columnar and document stores (Optional)
• Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL are relational databases.
