Job description
This role will form a core part of the Delta Capita CLM Technology team. The CLM technology team is a small dynamic team who own and develop the CLM platform solutions (including flagship Karbon and Karbon 8 products). As a Testing Analyst, you will collaborate with team members to design, maintain and execute testing and other quality-based activities across a range of CLM platform solutions, that are either already live or in progress. You will ensure consistency and sufficient coverage of testing scope for the technical platform, utilising regression and backward compatibility test approaches. The Testing Analyst will ensure that testing services delivered align with our objectives, while keeping to plan - creating confidence amongst peers for the level of diligence displayed. You will also ensure efficient and effective testing of CLM products used by our clients and managed service teams, whilst considering technical enhancements to improve the speed and accuracy of testing capabilities.
Job requirements
Role responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the CLM Platform users, CLM technology team and any 3rd party tech providers, to ensure that testing of software and output is comprehensive and accurate;
- Provide detailed test results in a clear manner, in order to gain client confidence and approval to deploy to their production environments;
- Understand hierarchical data structures and system processing, to troubleshoot root cause analysis of technical defects;
- Liaise closely with the CLM Platform Manager, CLM technology team and any 3rd party tech providers to understand planned change / enhancements to ensure clear test planning, and to provide testing input into delivery approach;
- Investigate incidents that come up from any gaps in testing and make improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensure that any defects in output are resolved rapidly and comprehensively;
- At all times, consider where technical solutions could either expedite or improve the quality of a testing process;
Essential Skills & Experience
- In-depth knowledge of software testing; Acceptance Criterion, SIT, Unit and User testing definition, performance, coordination and tracking;
- Experience with testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing;
- Solid experience in all aspects of functional and non-functional testing, along with delivery of Management Information reporting;
- Flexible attitude to delivery and comfortable working in agile, waterfall, hybrid model.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player, happy to roll sleeves up and help out where needed to ensure successful delivery from the team.
- Passionate about providing high levels of service;
- Able to operate and learn quickly in a fast paced environment;
- Self-motivated and proactive approach;
Desirable:
- Experience working in an investment banking or financial services
- Experience working as a technology consultant
- Experience working in a Fintech
