The Business Entity: Cisco's security division is one of its fastest-growing divisions. Cisco's Security Business Group includes a substantial Content Security Group. For the past many years, the Content Security Group has continuously been acknowledged as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for email and web security solutions. For our Email Security Software development team, we're looking for experienced Software Developers with strong design abilities and the ability to transform requirements into working features. Email Security Appliances, a managed Cloud Email Security service, and virtualized Email Security devices for the private cloud make up the Email Security portfolio. The Group: Cisco's Email Security team is situated in Bangalore and is responsible for the entire email security product range.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Write, review, and execute test plans for new features or current functionality, and assume complete responsibility for the job you've been given.
- To test features, collaborate closely with a cross-functional team (User Experience, Operations, Product Management, Support, and so on).
- In an agile setting, collaborate closely with other developers on software and system architecture.
- In any agile methodology, create work estimates and timetables.
- Participate in scrum ceremonies and use agile development tools to track the completion of assigned work. Qualifications required:
- Protocol testing (e.g. SMTP, HTTP, LDAP, TCP/IP, DNS)
- Application testing (UI and Functional).
- Ability to reproduce and debug complex Operating system issues.
- Experience with automation frameworks and configuration of continuous integration or an equivalent system.
Requirements
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or Object Oriented Languages like C++, Java.
- Prior experience in the email security technology or in cloud/orchestration related technologies like Open Stack, Puppet etc. is an added advantage.
- Experience in Virtualization technologies lie ESXi, KVM, Zen etc. is an added advantage.
- Ability to quickly adapt to the changing environment and willing to contribute in all areas of the software development including design, development and testing in a truly agile development. Qualification:
- Masters / Under Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a reputed college with good percentage.
- 8+ yrs of experience in reputed organization.
