For our Technology organization in EMEA, we're searching for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to oversee a team of Employee Relations Business Partners who create high-quality solutions for employees. This position demands strong people management abilities, as well as the capacity to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our employee relations work and contribute to the cultivation of a thriving Facebook culture on a hands-on basis. This is a full-time position based in our London headquarters.

Responsibilities of the Employee Relations Manager include:

  1. Lead a team of Employee Relations Business Partners who assist employees and managers in resolving workplace concerns across several business groups.
  2. Be aligned with FB processes and provide coaching, guidance, and direction to the ERBP team.
  3. In the EMEA area, collaborate with the business and HRBP teams to manage a pleasant, best-practice employee relations program.
  4. Provide assistance, thought partnership, and coaching to managers and employees at all levels within the organization on how to handle performance, dispute resolution, interpersonal issues, and complaints within their teams, in addition to your people management responsibilities.
  5. Lead the development of stringent data analysis and reporting solutions based on company requirements.
  6. Across the Employee Relations team, plan and recommend resource alignment and workload.
  7. As appropriate, supervise and arrange the recruitment, onboarding, and training of Employee Relations Specialists.
  8. To implement solutions, collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, and HR Investigations teams.
  9. Managers and staff should receive adequate coaching and development feedback.
  10. Work with the company and within one's own team to identify critical patterns in employee relations and push training, system, and process changes.
  11. Continue to look for methods to improve existing ER case management rules and processes, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability.

Minimum Requirements for this job:

  1. 10+ years of HR expertise in a fast-paced worldwide environment, demonstrating a thorough understanding of performance management and employee relations.
  2. 3+ years of experience in people management
  3. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills, as well as a track record of dealing with delicate issues with sensitivity and diplomacy.
  4. Organize, prioritize, and manage several assignments at the same time.
  5. Ability to communicate with and effectively influence people at all levels of a professional organization, up to and including vice presidents:
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as business savvy
  7. A growth mentality refers to someone who is eager to continue learning and increasing their skill set.
  8. A bachelor's degree is required.
  9. Working understanding of EMEA-wide employment legislation is essential.

  11. Travel to our Tech facilities across EMEA will be required on occasion.
